  1. Continuous diaphragm sign
  2. V-sign of Naclerio
  3. Spinnaker sign/ Angel wing sign: It refers to the thymus being outlined by air with each lobe displaced laterally and appearing like spinnaker sails.

X-ray signs of Pneumoperitoneum

  1. Falciform Ligament Sign: Falciform ligament (connecting anterior abdominal wall to liver) becomes outlined by air
  2. Rigler sign/ Double wall sign/ Bas-relief sign: Bowel wall lined by intraluminal & extraluminal air
  3. Football sign: Massively air filled peritoneum
  4. Cupola sign: Air accumulation beneath the central tendon of the diaphragm
  5. Inverted V sign: Free air lining lateral umbilical ligaments
